Retired Maj. Gen. William “Neil” McCasland commanded the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB — the base most associated with exotic aerospace research since Roswell. He appears in WikiLeaks Podesta emails regarding UFO discussions with Tom DeLonge, who identified him as someone with direct knowledge of UAP programs. Garry Nolan has publicly described a senior AFRL figure matching McCasland’s profile as a “UAP gatekeeper.” McCasland vanished 4 days after Trump signed a UAP disclosure executive order, leaving behind his phone, glasses, and wearable devices. He is the highest-ranking figure on this site.

PURSUE is a classified Air Force Research Laboratory initiative studying exotic propulsion concepts — the physics of how objects might move without conventional thrust. The program’s existence was confirmed through FOIA documents and congressional briefings, but its scope, findings, and current status remain classified. PURSUE sits within the same AFRL infrastructure that McCasland commanded. The program’s research portfolio reportedly encompasses anti-gravity, inertial mass reduction, metamaterial propulsion, and field-effect drives — precisely the fields where the dead and missing scientists had expertise.

Wright-Patterson has been the center of US aerospace intelligence since the Air Force was founded. It houses NASIC (National Air and Space Intelligence Center), AFRL (Air Force Research Laboratory), and has been associated with UAP material analysis since the Roswell era. Three figures on this site connect directly to Wright-Patterson: McCasland (commanded AFRL there), Matthew Sullivan (served as NASIC deputy director, died May 2024 before UAP testimony), and the base experienced drone incursion airspace shutdowns in December 2024. Sullivan had agreed to testify about UAP crash retrieval programs before Congress.

The Pentagon launched the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) portal in two batches: 162 files on May 8 (including the original Roswell FBI memo, Oak Ridge surveillance imagery, never-before-seen Apollo lunar photos, and recent military encounter videos) and 222 files on May 22 (including F-16 shootdown footage of an unidentified object over Lake Huron, Michigan on Feb 12, 2023). The portal has surpassed 1 billion visits. A third batch is expected in June, rumored to focus on underwater encounters (USOs). Contents span 1947 to early 2026 and are sourced from DOD, FBI, NASA, and State Department archives.

Sources report a second executive order is being prepared that would nullify government NDAs tied to UFO and UAP research, creating a pathway to immunity for individuals who violated laws while participating in secret programs. This would allow scientists, military contractors, and insiders to come forward without prosecution. If NDAs were a motive for silencing researchers, this order would directly undercut that motive.

Huntsville, Alabama — home of NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Redstone Arsenal, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville — has lost at least four people connected to exotic propulsion research. Ning Li (UAH physicist, groundbreaking anti-gravity research in the 1990s, DoD-funded, permanent brain damage from 2014 hit-and-run, died 2021). Amy Eskridge (co-founded Institute for Exotic Science, anti-gravity research, claimed she was targeted by a directed energy weapon, dead June 2022 at 34). Joshua LeBlanc (nuclear thermal propulsion, NASA Huntsville, dead July 2025). The Moffatt family (NASA JSC/UAH connections, multi-fatality crash, August 2025). Four deaths in one aerospace corridor over a decade.

New Mexico hosts the densest concentration of classified research facilities in the country: Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Kirtland AFB (which houses the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and AFRL Directed Energy Directorate), and White Sands Missile Range. McCasland vanished from Albuquerque. Spencer Goetz and Benjamin Borges had connections to the LANL/Sandia ecosystem. The state is also home to the Santa Fe Institute (Epstein-funded, LANL-adjacent) and Epstein’s Zorro Ranch. Roswell, the ur-text of American UAP history, is in southeastern NM.

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office now has over 2,000 unresolved UAP cases per Defense Secretary Hegseth. Yet Rep. Burchett filed H.R. 8197 to abolish AARO entirely within 60 days, with a hard prohibition on creating any replacement office. Rep. Luna publicly recommended DOGE disband AARO. The office that’s supposed to investigate UAP encounters is simultaneously overwhelmed with cases and facing legislative termination.

Reps. Burchett and Luna introduced H.R. 5060 to expand whistleblower protections to federal employees, DOD members, contractors, and intelligence community workers who disclose information about taxpayer funds spent on UAP research. Referred to Oversight, Armed Services, and Intelligence committees. Grusch remains on staff as Special Advisor to the House UAP Caucus. A new whistleblower was confirmed by Burlison in December 2025 — priority on classified SCIF settings rather than public hearings.

A formal hearing titled “Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection” is scheduled for June 25, 2026. The hearing will focus on UAP transparency, congressional oversight, and scientific inquiry. Given the overlap between the missing scientists’ work and disclosed UAP programs, this hearing could directly address the cases.

The disclosed and partially-disclosed UAP programs study specific physics domains. The dead scientists worked in precisely those domains:

Anti-gravity / inertial mass reduction: Ning Li (UAH), Amy Eskridge (Institute for Exotic Science). PURSUE reportedly studies this. Livelsberger claimed operational anti-gravity craft exist.

Advanced propulsion: Joshua LeBlanc (nuclear thermal, NASA). DARPA DRACO was cancelled; LeBlanc died two months later.

Metamaterials / materials science: Monica Reza (JPL Materials Processing Group). AATIP studied metamaterials with anomalous properties.

Directed energy: Amy Eskridge claimed DEW targeting. Havana Syndrome device confirmed. Kirtland AFB’s Directed Energy Directorate is in the NM corridor.

Deep space / aerospace intelligence: Michael David Hicks (JPL), Carl Grillmair (Caltech IPAC), Matthew Sullivan (NASIC). The UAP files describe objects performing maneuvers that defy known aerospace engineering.

Since Grusch’s July 2023 testimony, Congress has pushed disclosure with increasing urgency. The Schumer-Rounds UAP Disclosure Act (passed Senate, stripped in House conference). Rep. Burlison appointed Grusch as transparency advisor and formally requested FBI investigation of Sullivan’s death. Trump’s February 2025 executive order directing declassification.
